Systematic reviews are helpful to the research and clinical communities in providing a summary of the available evidence
By definition, systematic reviews do not require any new work, utilising existing published studies, and are therefore an ideal means of achieving a publication 
OxSCAR will host projects that meet the outlined criteria (see below) and will facilitate an appropriate supervisor, statician and librarian. Any trainee in the region can contact Keaton Jones to express an interest and get involved. 
The following projects are currently available:

Management of hepatic adenomas

Morphometric assessment and bariatric surgery

Local vs Epidural analgesia in open UGI resections
